The world’s largest high-rise modular hotel has opened in Perth, Australia.

The new-build ibis Styles East Perth spans 18 floors and adds 252 guest rooms to East Perth’s hotel supply – specifically geared towards the economy travel market.

The new hotel, located at 69 Adelaide Terrace, is the 29th Ibis Styles in Australia and joins the global Ibis Styles network of more than 260 hotels.

“New, modern hotels such as the ibis Styles East Perth are an important part of Perth’s transformation, which has taken place over the past few years,” said Tourism Minister, Mr. Paul Papalia. “This hotel is in a great location for visitors, offering easy access to Langley Park with views of the stunning Swan River. “It is also perfectly situated for people attending events at Optus Stadium and the WACA Ground, including the exciting Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cup International matches next year.”

Each room at the ibis Styles East Perth features free Wi-Fi, Chrome Cast, USB and HDMI connectivity and USB charging facilities.

The hotel also features co-working spaces, a bar and restaurant, 24-hour gymnasium, and office space.

Accor Pacific’s Chief Operating Officer, Simon McGrath, said, “The past five years has seen the economy accommodation sector shift dramatically, both in terms of product and guest expectations.
